Premier Package for Freshman and Sophomore College Students
“We know our student is enjoying their campus because we see so many neat photos on their social media page – football games, search for the best tacos near campus, campus concerts, etc. I haven’t heard them mention anything about how classes are going, when they will be choosing classes for the spring, or when they will be meeting with a counselor…”
- Comprehensive individual evaluation to evaluate strengths and areas of interest to form an initial list of possible major(s) or minor(s).
- Select collegiate extracurriculars, internships, and volunteer opportunities that will form the foundation for a well-rounded workplace application.
- Create a four-year timeline for all graduation requirements to be met.
- Assist in applying for scholarships and financial aid opportunities for current college students.
- Discuss overall career goals and establish a plan to accomplish those goals.
- Discuss general study abroad, graduate school, or specialty school options.
- Discuss utilization of campus resources for tutoring services, wellness options, and stress reducing activities.
- Develop time management skills and strategies for collegiate success.
- Polish student’s professional resume and create/update online recruiting tools.
- Assist in selecting Sophomore and Junior year courses.
- Record individual accomplishments, rewards, and recognition using our exclusive College4Careers tracking planner for college students.
A minimum of four individual meetings per school year. Most meetings are 90 minutes. Local students or students home on break may schedule in-person meetings. Students away or abroad, may schedule their meetings by phone. These meetings are generally scheduled before the school year begins, before course selection begins for the winter or spring semester, during the winter break, and before course selection begins for the summer or fall semester. Additional in-person or phone meetings may be scheduled at no additional charge to meet any further needs of the student that arise during the school year.
