How does USC assist families with financial assistance? USC has a need-blind admissions process where a student’s ability to pay has no bearing on their admission. USC has a tradition of meeting a families financial need with a combination of merit scholarships, grants, Federal Work Study, plus loans and two-thirds of freshman receive some form of assistance. The financial aid from all university sources exceeds 350 million! Families must complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile to be eligible.
